St. John's outreach partner, Charlotte Family Housing, was picked to be the recipient of the Canopy Housing Foundation's Strides for Shelter 5K that will be held at McAlpine Creek Park on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.  All proceeds from the race will go towards helping CFH redesign, refurbish, restructure, and restock its MAP (Motivated Achievement Point) store.  It's a super family-friendly event - adults, kids, and families are all welcome to walk, run, or skip through the 5K.  There's even a 1K Fun Run!
