Holy Week Schedule
Join us for a night of good food, great company, and encouragement as we come together for fellowship. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 6-8pm at Old Mecklenburg Brewery in Ballantyne (15025 Bowl St, Charlotte, NC 28277). This is a time to relax, enjoy a meal, and connect with other men in the community. Bring a friend—newcomers are always welcome!
Enjoy great food, good conversation, and the opportunity to build meaningful connections in a laid-back setting. At 7:30pm, George Sheild will lead us in a short spiritual reflection on the theme, “Why Worry?”
Worry is something we all deal with—whether it’s our families, careers, or the uncertainty of life. But scripture reminds us that worry adds nothing to our lives; instead, it burdens us. In Luke 12:25-26, Jesus asks, “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?” It’s a powerful reminder that God calls us to trust Him rather than be consumed by fear. Likewise, Romans 8:28 reassures us that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Even when life feels uncertain, we can have confidence that God is at work, guiding and providing for us.
We’ll close with a brief prayer and encouragement as we head into the week ahead. The event will wrap up at 8pm. Come as you are, bring a friend, and let’s share in a night of fellowship, faith, and freedom from worry!
