Join us on Sunday, August 30, as we gather for a special day in the life of St. John’s!

During the 10:15 a.m. service, we will offer a Blessing of the Backpacks for all students as they begin a new school year. Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks to church for a blessing.

Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for a Parish Fellowship event as we warmly welcome our new Associate Rector, the Rev. Patricia Orlando, and her husband, Michael. There will be fun and fellowship to be had by all as we celebrate this new season together.

As a gesture of welcome, parishioners are invited to bring a gift card to one of their favorite places in Charlotte so Patricia and Michael may experience the joy of the city we all love.
